A fixed prosthetic can enhance both function and cosmetics. A bridge is made to fill in gaps left by a missing tooth. A crown (cap) covers the outside of a tooth and protects the tooth. An implant crown or bridge fits onto an artificial metal implant. Implants take the place of a missing tooth and do not attach to natural teeth. A veneer enhances the outside of a tooth to change the shape and color.
A fixed prosthetic is made off-site by a high quality dental laboratory. At a second appointment, the patient is fitted with the new prosthetic to assure a comfortable fit. Your new permanent prosthetic will be shaped and shaded to match to your teeth in color and fit.
We provide an extensive exam that will determine which type of fixed prosthetic you might need. We customize your new tooth (or teeth) to your mouth and your quality of life will certainly improve, as you will be able to eat comfortably again.
